It has been announced that two more top-notch race callers will make the trek to Clinton Raceway on Sunday, September 4 for Legends Day

.

In addition to fellow U.S. invader Roger Huston, Frank Salive and Ken Warkentin will also be taking turns behind the microphone.

Salive will be returning from Florida and his duties at Pompano Park to be a part of the celebration. Salive has not missed a Legends Day yet.

“I have had the privilege to be a part of every Legends Day since its inception 10 years ago, and to work as Clinton's announcer from 2001-2010,” Salive told Clinton Raceway. “It's been a welcome surprise in my first two years at Pompano Park how many folks from both countries ask me about Legends Day, so I am expecting 2011 to be the best one yet.”

This installment of the always anticipated event will mark Warkentin’s first official Legends Day visit, as he will break from his duties at the Meadowlands.

“While it may be an honour and privilege to be a part of such a wonderful day, and work with such dedicated people, it’s also great to back home in Ontario, Canada,” Warkentin said.

Greg Blanchard, Ken Middleton and Tim O’Connor will also take turns in the booth for a couple of races during the card.

The $20,000 Legends Day Invitational Trot will feature some of the sport's all-time greatest drivers. John Campbell, Ron Waples, Keith Waples, Clint Galbraith, Bill O’Donnell, Doug Brown, Jim Doherty, Bud Fritz and Ray Remmen will come to Clinton for the festivities.

Tickets for the chicken BBQ are now available, as are raffle tickets for the chance to dine with Theo Fleury, NHL Stanley Cup and Olympic Champion. Fleury will be on-site for photos, autographs and a trackside interview with Salive. All proceeds from the day's events will add to the over $130,000 which Legends Day has raised over the last 10 years for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.
