Stuck with post eight, Trashytonguetalker was forced to a three-wide, :26.3 opening panel before he could cross over. And it didn’t bother him a bit, as he kept pouring it on en route to a 5-1/2 length rout in Thursday’s (Aug. 17) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $14,000 claiming handicap pace.
Dave Palone was able to give him a :29.1 second-quarter breather and that was all the 11-year-old Arts Chip-The Panishing Girl needed. He triumphed in 1:52.1 for his second straight victory as Big Bang Bang and Forkner Hanover completed the ticket.
Brandon Presto trains the winning Trashytonguetalker, who lifted his career bankroll to $351,381 for Ameer Najor.
It was one of four wins for Palone on the 13-race card.
Friday’s (Aug. 18) card at The Meadows features a pair of stakes for freshman colt and gelding pacers: a $170,320 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and a $60,000 PA Stallion Series event. On the wagering front, the program offers a $1,144.67 carryover in the Early Pentafecta (race four). First post is 5:10 p.m.
