Forward Clicks For Five At Dresden

Brad Forward, Canada’s leading driver, is fast approaching the 4,000-win milestone as he picked up five more

victories on Wednesday at Dresden Raceway giving him a total of 18 in the past five days.

Forward teamed up with Bob McIntosh trainee Quite A Shock ($4.20) to kick off the card on a winning note. The resident of Woodstock, ON didn’t hit the board again until six races later, but then captured three in a row with Little Miss Ivy ($4.60) for Gord McDonnell, Knight Ranger ($2.10) for Carver Sullivan and Priceless Picture ($3.40) for McDonnell again. The Chris Haskell-trained So Feminine ($3.50) helped Forward wrap up the card and complete his five-bagger.

With 326 wins under his belt so far this season, Forward maintains a 33-win lead over Scott Zeron in the Canadian driver's standings. Forty-seven of those victories have occurred at Dresden, where he is also ranked number one.

Lifetime, the 2009 O'Brien Award finalist has won 3,973 times earning $23.9 million.
