Kent Sherman harnessed the 2,000th winner of his training career on Wednesday (July 15) at MGM Northfield Park.
Sherman reached the milestone in the evening's 11th race, when Stanley K held off all challengers to win in 1:53.2. Ryan Stahl drove the Daryl Sherman homebred.
Kent Sherman was honoured trackside on Wednesday at MGM Northfield Park following his 2,000th training win of his career.
Sherman began training in 1991. In addition to his 2,000 victories, he has earned nearly $15 million in purses.
