Trot Insider has spoken with trainer Carl Jamieson regarding the sharp three-year-olds that he has consigned to Standardbred Canada's Spring Fling Mixed Sale, which will take place Sunday, June 14 alongside

the Twos In Training Sale at the SC Sales Pavilion at Flamboro Downs.

Among the four Jamieson-owned three-year-olds in the sale is World Away, a half-brother to aged superstar Mister Big, the multiple stakes-winning sub-1:48 pacer which currently has over $3.3 million on his card.

In addition to being eligible to the lucrative Ontario Sires Stakes program, World Away, by Western Terror, is paid up to the Burlington Stakes, Pepsi North America Cup and Canadian Breeders Championships. "He's staked up pretty well," said Jamieson, who told Trot Insider that the colt was not 100 per cent last year.

In eight career starts, World Away has compiled a record of 1-2-1, earning $46,900 in purses and taking a mark of 1:53 over Mohawk Racetrack. The colt most recently finished sixth in an OSS Gold elimination at Rideau Carleton Raceway. World Away will go through the sales ring as Hip #82.

Art Major colt Captain Sir, ranked as the 20-1 seventh pick in Trot Magazine's 2009 Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book, has also been consigned to the sale by Jamieson. "A couple of owners wanted to sell their partnerships in him, and that is why he is in the sale," explained the horseman, who said that the colt was also pretty heavily staked.

Captain Sir, a Breeders Crown elim winner from 2008, has banked $43,730 from 11 career starts. The bay colt currently has a record of 3-2-1 with its mark of 1:52.3 taken in the aforementioned Crown elim. Captain Sir is eligible to the Burlington Stakes and the Pepsi North America Cup. Captain Sir has been given Hip #32

Three-year-old Real Desire colt Chief Of The Beach is another that Jamieson has consigned to the Spring Fling Mixed Sale. The colt is paid up to the Simcoe Stakes, Burlington Stakes and Pepsi North America Cup.

"[Chief Of The Beach] just got beat three-quarters of a length in a [1:] 51.4 mile last week at Mohawk," said Jamieson, "he's coming into his own right now -- they all are, really."

A winner of $79,448 overall, Chief Of The Beach has only missed the board once in nine career starts, assembling a 3-3-2 resume with a mark of 1:53.4 taken over Mohawk this year. Chief Of The Beach has been catalogued as Hip #66.

Fresh off a mark-lowering 1:52 mile at Mohawk, three-year-old Artiscape filly Shes A Fan has been assigned Hip #75 for the sale.

"[Shes A Fan] is staked up to the Bud Light Stakes and then the Fan Hanover," Jamieson explained. "She's coming off a [1:] 52 mile her last time out and is looking really good."

From 14 career starts, Shes A Fan has assembled a 8-1-1 record and banked $174,353. The bay has also won three of four starts this year.

Fresh off a 1:52.3 win at Mohawk, Jamieson has also entered four-year-old The Panderosa horse Legacy N Diamonds to the Spring Fling Mixed Sale. Legacy N Diamonds has been assigned Hip #41.
