American Nitro and Apple Valley Art scored decisive wins in the 2nd $20,000 leg of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund stakes action Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The Badlands Nitro-Jet America gelding recorded his sixth career win. Bebop On The Beach, who set the pace, was second with Aidan third. She paid $2.40 to win.
The second division saw a front end score for Jo Ann Looney-King’s Apple Valley Art, who controlled the tempo for driver Tim Tetrick en route to an easy 1:55.4 score victory for trainer Jim King, Jr. The Artzina-Shake Away gelding never had an anxious moment and completed a sweep of his eliminations. Leonard’s Legacy was second with Elite Retreat third. She paid $2.20 to win.
Kirby, Tetrick and Russell Foster each had three wins apiece.
