Square Deal emerged from the pocket a winner in 1:52.2 in the featured $30,822 Fillies & Mares Free-For-All Pace on Tuesday, June 25 at Harrington Raceway.

With Tony Morgan up, the four-year-old Mark Howard-owned mare followed pacesetting favourite Shield Maiden most of the way before pulling the pocket near three-quarters and surging by the leader. Square Deal won by a length over Melody Hanover and Twin Delight.

It was the second recent win in this class for the Will Reynolds trainee, who has banked $99,084 this season. She took her lifetime best at Harrington on May 14 with a 1:51.4 score.

The Cathy Spinella-owned Need Ur Opinion (Allan Davis) recorded her 15th win of the year with a 1:55.3 win for trainer Phil Mitchell. The seven-year-old pacing mare has the most wins this year of any North American Standardbred, despite changing barns regularly, as she has been claimed in seven straight starts.
