When someone grows up in the same sport as their Hall of Fame father (and uncle), you might think that they spend a lot of time trying to get out of the shadow of their successful, older family members. Sylvain Filion, though, embraces it. When asked to reflect on his career, in terms of highlights and who helped him the most, the new Hall of Famer made it abundantly clear: He owes much of it to his dad, Yves. He’s very proud of that fact, and he’s not shy to talk about it either.
