If there are 100 entries in tomorrow night’s Pepsi North America Cup Extreme Betting Contest at Mohawk, the track will top up the prize pool by $5,000 - a generous offer to local horseplayers

The unique contest allows bettors to wager with real money in real time at any automated machine at the track, during the entire Mohawk racecard. Each player is allowed up to two entries, so technically it could take just 50 players for the bonus money to kick in.
The contest requires a $25 entry fee, and a $50 bankroll for a shot at part of the potential $7,500 prize pool
HPI's Tracy Richards told Trot Insider that this past Saturday's first contest was "well received and people told us it was easy to play." Richards went on to say that "assuming a minimum of 100 people sign up to play this Saturday there will be $7,500 in the prize pool to distribute to the top handicappers."
Horseplayers can register beforehand or when they arrive. Entry into the contest is easy - simply sign up at the registration table at Mohawk between 5:30 and 9:00 p.m.on Saturday night.
