Fresh off a victory last weekend, Poppys Bucky Boy climbed back into the $6,500 top class at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday and kept his winning momentum rolling for a 19-1 upset.

The five-year-old son of The Panderosa converted a pocket trip into a season's best 1:54.3 victory for trainer/driver Stephane Pouliot. He defeated the popular pacesetter Viper Select (:27.4, :57.3, 1:26) by two lengths shooting up the inside lane while second choice Pieraz finished third after a first over journey.

The second longest shot on the board, Poppys Bucky Boy paid $40.90 to win.

He is owned by Meadowgem Farm of Osgoode, Ont. and 9096 9205 Quebec Inc. of St Henri de Levis, Que.
