A pair of Les Givens trainees won two of the three $27,027 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) eliminations on Tuesday, June 17 at Harrington Raceway for three-year-old pacing fillies.

Donna Messick's Little Miss Peyton ($2.10, Corey Callahan) scored an easy 1:55.1 win in the first DSBF elimination over Valentina Station (Eddie Dennis) and Mad Anne (Roger Plante Jr.). The daughter of Papa Ray-Armbro Cashmere, now two-for-seven this year, had no trouble making the lead from post six and cruised to an open length score, the 10th of her career.

In the second division, Nanticoke Racing, Arthur Feeney and Chad Tate's Bella Artiste ($2.40, Jim Morand) used a potent stretch kick to reel in pacesetter Proper Lady (Cody Poliseno) in the final strides for her 10th career win in 1:57.2. Im Won Last Wiser (Troy Beyer) was third. The daughter of Badlands Hanover out of Arts Bid recorded her fifth win of the season in eight starts.

The final DSBF filly split went to Tilted Crown ($2.10, Russel Foster) over Mimosa On The Key (Allan Davis) and Sweetpea Pat (Barton Dalious) in 1:57.1. Co-owned by Leblanc Racing for trainer Steve Lablanc, the daughter of Royal Mattjesty and Fillys Victory has earned three of her four lifetime victories this year in a dozen starts.

Live harness racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule through July 2 with post time at 4:30 p.m.
