In Friday's fourth race at Freehold Raceway, driver Steve Smith left with Noras Tandt and never looked back to record his 4,000th career victory.
The 1:56.2 mile was a new lifetime mark for the 10-year-old mare trained by Mark Infante who returned $27.80 to win.
Since 1985, Smith has driven in nearly 35,000 races with his mounts earning over $35 million in purses.
