Mike Casalino, Jr. and Dylan Davis' Itsrocknroll A was a 1:52.4 winner in the $17,000 featured conditioned pace Monday at Harrington Raceway.
The six-year-old A Rocknroll Dance gelding and driver Corey Callahan set all the fractions in his narrow win over Mack and Goldberg, who fought gamely first over. It was the second win of the meet for Itsrocknroll A, who is co-owned by his trainer Davis. It was one of two wins for Callahan. The pacer paid $2.20 to win.
Earlier on the card, Frank Chick's Match In Heaven A ($4, Art Stafford, Jr.) had an auspicious North American debut with a 1:52.1 win in an $11,000 conditioned pace. The Kevin Lare-trainee brushed to the front after the half-mile and drew clear confidently in his one length win. A 9-year-old Somebeachsomewhere stallion, Match In Heaven A has made nearly $270,000 lifetime.
Allan Davis had three wins on the program. Art Stafford, Jr. had a double.
