A multi-phase, $25 million expansion plan put forth by the owner of Batavia Downs, Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corp, is currently in the preliminary stages and will include extensive renovations of the facility and the addition of a hotel
According to an article in The Batavia Daily News, work could begin next year.
The renovations at the track will need approval by state Lottery officials. WROTB is preparing preliminary engineering reports to send to the state for approval.
