While most of the attention in European harness racing has gone to Ready Cash and Rapide Lebel, Commander Crowe may have solidified himself as the best of the best after a dominant straight-heat winning performance in the 2012 Elitlopp

.

After just getting up to beat Arch Madness in his heat, Commander Crowe and driver Christophe Martens made a stunning three-wide brush to the front in the Elitlopp final taking the lead from Arch Madness and driver Brian Sears. Under patient rating on the backstretch that kept Arch Madness in the pocket, Martens and Comamnder Crowe were more than a length the best in the final over Arch Madness with longshot Classic Grand Cru (Bjorn Goop) closing well for third. The time of the mile was 1:53.1.

The hometown favourite, owned by Sweden's Snogarps Gard stable and trained by France's Fabrice Souloy, has now captured three of the top races in Europe in 2012 - the Olympic Trot, the Oslo Grand Prix and the Elitlopp. While the connections of Comamnder Crowe stated that there could be an expanded North American season for their top trotter in 2012 after a brief rest, Comamnder Crowe will not return to North America until late October for the Breeders Crown at Woodbine Racetrack.

Canadian entrant Windsong Geant with trainer-driver Rick Zeron failed to advance from his elimination, captured by Norwegian standout Yarrah Boko.

Far Superior: Parked 3 wide to the 1/4 in the final then a 13 second move in the next 1/8th to get to the fron and put the field away. When he comes over here the rest better have their halters on tight or he will blow them off on the way by. As Stated only Arch Maddness had the talent and class to race with the top calibre European totters. Note only that but Commander Crowe will have no trouble passing the drug tests there or here!!

commander crowe is by a Jean-pierre Dubois stallion, standing in Sweden.é
the horse wear knee booth, and nothing on his 4 legs, and no shoes .
We note that in Europe, the trotters do not race with elastic bandages in the back but mostly light or
boots
