Calliope Hanover was third when Hunter Myers sent her after the leader, Stay Happy, who was able to maintain her margin until mid-stretch. That’s when the three-year-old daughter of Stay Hungry-Castaway Hanover kicked it into a higher gear and overtook Stay Happy, downing her by a length in a career-best 1:54.1. The hard-used Betting Fra earned show.
