On Tuesday, May 16 at Monticello Raceway, 18-year-old reinsman Brandon Parker recorded his first pari-mutuel driving victory.
With the speed of light and a hardy Steve Said, Parker enjoyed his first pari-mutuel win as he reined the six-year-old son of Well Said to the wire first in 1:56.2.
Steve Said, who is owned by Evan Katz, is trained by Brandon’s father, accomplished horseman William ‘Zeke’ Parker Jr., who has recorded more than 11,000 driving wins in his career.
In the winner's circle, Zeke sported a proud smile as he and Brandon were joined by friends and fans.
