After seeing limited stallion duty in Canada, popular pacer Stonebridge Galaxy will serve as a stallion outside of North America
.
The Apaches Fame horse, who earned just shy of $800,000 while taking a mark of 1:49.2, has been exported to Great Britain and will stand stud at Mick Welling's Camden Stud alongside Pro Bono Best, Arts Conquest and Yankee Lariat. Stonebridge Galaxy stood stud in British Columbia last year.
Welling told Trot Insider he will also take some excellent broodmare prospects across the pond as well. One of those broodmares is Lola, one of the few broodmares in harness racing history to boast two sub-1:49 performers. She is in foal to Cambest and the resulting foal would be a full brother or sister to the fast Canyon Wind as well as Paragon.
Joining Lola in the Camden Stud broodmare ranks will be Anthology - a full sister to the late, great Artsplace - as well as House Flight.
