Rick Weil, CEO and Managing Director of SciPlay made a presentation on "Understanding I-Gaming Potential" at the Canadian Gaming Summit held at
Calgary's BMO Centre earlier this afternoon.
Weil identified three key trends for the development of I-Gaming:
- Growth of wide area gaming
- Increased Role for Government
- Convergence
"Consumers want the ability to play any game, any time, anywhere and are looking to access multiple channels and engage in multiple play styles," said Weil, "and the industry has the technology to do this."
