Pleasures Song used a powerful backside brush to cruise to an easy victory in a division of the Whotookwhat Series on Thursday at The Meadows.
SJs Minolta broke stride early but recovered and trotted diligently on the outside to take the lead before the three-quarter pole, but she didn’t have the lead for very long. When Dick Stillings unleashed Pleasures Song, the three-year-old daughter of Windsongs Legacy responded by opening up nearly five quick lengths. She stopped the clock in 1:59, winning by just over two lengths over SJs Minolta. Suesrayofsunshine was third.

Allthatnabagofchip took the other $15,000 division in the series second leg for driver Tony Hall, trainer Kent Sherman and Korans Stables Inc. of Macedonia, Ohio. It was the first win of the season for the three-year-old daughter of Chip Chip Hooray.
The final of the Whotookwhat Series is set for next Thursday at The Meadows. The series is named after a seven-year-old daughter of Inquirer, who surpassed $600,000 in career earnings with a show finish in Wednesday’s Filly & Mare Preferred Trot.
