Three divisions of the Bobby Weiss Series went postward Tuesday evening at Pocono Downs, and Prima Dragon stole the show thanks to her 1:53.4 smoke show.

Brett Miller worked out a two-hole trip for Prima Dragon, who watched Corona With Lime whack out panels of :27 and :56. Miller went into attack mode with the Michael Dowdall trainee in the backstretch, and she was up on the outside to take over command at the three-quarter pole in 1:24.1. A :29.3 closing quarter was more than enough to seal the deal for the four-year-old daughter of Dragon Again-Zacharysprimadonna. She defeated Cinamony and Odds On Alpha in the $15,000 affair.

Phoenix Rising Stables LI of Ravenna, Ohio own the six-time winner, who now boasts a bankroll that stands at $73,667. The mare has racked up a 2-2-0 record in the first four legs of the series.

Envious Hanover is now 3-1-0 in the first four legs of the series thanks to her 1:56.1 victory in the opening division. Matt Kakaley hustled the Ron Burke trainee to the top from Post 5 and she cruised through fractions of :28.4, :59 and 1:28.1 before storming home in a :28-second clip to win by three-quarters of a length over Ravishnmasterpiece. Fashion Fluzzy tagged along in the two-hole all the way and managed to finish third.

The four-year-old daughter of Western Ideal-Eicarls Olvidar is owned by Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Frank Baldachino and Larry Karr. The partners have watched the mare assemble a 4-2-1 record from just 10 trips to the track this season. The $7,500 payday boosted her bankroll to $74,719.

Sweet Charity was treated to a ground-saving trip in the final division, and she took full advantage of it en route to posting a 1:55.4 score for driver Andrew McCarthy and trainer Aaron Lambert. The three-year-old Art Major-Fool For You miss watched Stucklikeglue set most of the speed, but she failed to last on the lead. Sweet Charity found clearance in the late stages of the mile and got up to win by a head over race favourite Pacific Wine, with Millers Bird just a half-length back in third.

J And T Silva Stables LLC of Long Beach, NY and Kenneth Tucci of Wood Ridge, NJ own the lightly-raced lass who was making just the fifth start of her career. She’s a two-time winner to date with earnings in excess of $30,000.
