Wiggle It Jiggleit Back In To Go

Published: March 29, 2016 11:40 am EDT

Off of a devastating qualifying effort and an all-business 2016 pari-mutuel debut on Monday evening, Wiggle It Jiggleit has been entered to race again this Saturday, but the winner of more than $2.26-million will have to hit the highway in order to get it on.

When the entry box closed Tuesday morning (March 29) for Yonkers Raceway’s Saturday night program, Wiggle It Jiggleit’s name was one of the 32 leading Free-For-Allers that were submitted for Leg 3 of the George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series.

The four-year-old Mr Wiggles gelding is set to make his Yonkers debut this Saturday. The student of trainer Clyde Francis will start from Post 7 in Yonkers’ eighth race, which is the third of four consecutive $50,000 ‘Levy’ splits.

Wiggle It Jiggleit began his ‘aged’ purse career with a 1:51.4 win on Monday evening in an invitational handicap at Dover Downs in Delaware. The victory was the 24th win in Wiggle It Jiggleit’s 28-race career. Horseman George Teague Jr. co-owns Wiggle It Jiggleit along with Teague Racing Partnership. Teague’s son, Montrell Teague, is scheduled to be in the sulky on Saturday.

All Bets Off (listed to be driven by Matt Kakaley from Post 6) will start directly inside Wiggle It Jiggleit in a stacked field that also features defending series champ Domethatagain (Dan Dube, PP4) and Ideal Cowboy (Jason Bartlett, PP8).

Take It Back Terry (George Brennan, PP4) and Lucan Hanover (George Brennan, PP7), each of whom 2-for-2 in the series, will oppose one another in Saturday’s final series event, while the other ‘two-timer,’ Bit Of A Legend N (Jordan Stratton, PP8), received no ‘venue love’ in the second division.

On Friday night, the third round of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series will feature a trio of $40,000 events (Race 5 through Race 7). Al Raza N (Jordan Stratton, PP4), the only repeat winner thus far, drew into the final division.

The field for Wiggle It Jiggleit’s Levy division appears below.
