BHA Rules On Owner Who Attacked Jockey

What is the fine and suspension for physically attacking a jockey and owner after a race in Britain? Well, racehorse owner David Reynolds has just found out

According to a report by The Guardian, Reynolds -- who attacked jockey Kieren Fallon after a Saturday, March 20 race at Lingfield Park in Surrey, United Kingdom -- has been banned from all racing premises for three months and fined £10,000 by the British Horseracing Authority.

The BHA could have suspended Reynolds for up to three years.

"I deeply regret what happened at Lingfield," Reynolds said through a statement provided by his solicitor, Rachel Flynn. "I have apologized to Kieren Fallon and everybody involved in the incident and I now wish to put this matter behind me."
