It has been reported that on Tuesday (March 25) the Kentucky Senate approved a 1.5 per cent tax on ‘Instant Racing,’ also known as ‘Historical Racing.’
As an article by The Courier-Journal explains, the approval came with a stipulation that the legal standing of Instant Racing will be decided by the outcome of a lawsuit which is still being dealt with in the courts.
The report states that another version of the bill is expected to be crafted by a conference committee that will be comprised of members from the House and Senate.
