Over the course of his career, horseman Bill Davis has racked up just under 3,000 training victories. He has also racked up over 5,000 driving victories. That is why many have wondered why he hasn't been spending as much
time in the racebike as of late.
During an interview Monday night on Race Night on The Score, Davis explained his absence from the sulky.
"I've been kind of healing up a bad arm," he told Woodbine Entertainment Group's Jeff Bratt. "I've been kind of lame for about three weeks. Hopefully I'm slowly getting better, but at the same time, I will be driving."
Davis has sent out 25 starters so far this campaign, but has been in the bike just once.
He is scheduled to steer Shesabombshell during the Tuesday, February 9 card of live racing at Kawartha Downs.
Kawartha's 12-race card has a first-race post time of 4:15 p.m.
