Winbak Farm was recently recognized by the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) for hosting the annual program opening retreats for the prestigious Bowe Fellowship for global executives at the Maryland location.
The Farm received an award on Thursday, Feb. 6 or “all-time favourite” at the 10th anniversary celebration of the Bowe Fellowship for its role in strengthening the bond among the program participants from all 10 cohorts so far. Winbak Farm serves as the host for a two-day team building event held at the scenic location in Chesapeake City.
The Bowe Fellowship prepares executive-potential leaders for C-suite roles. It is WTCI’s signature talent development program that serves global companies from the mid-Atlantic region to train and facilitate the networking opportunities of their most precious asset – their people. Since 2015, the farm has hosted nearly 250 Bowe Fellows.
Companies that have participated include Under Armour, Northrop, McCormick, Stanley Black and Decker, Collins Aerospace, Tenable and Prometric.
Joe Thomson, owner of Winbak Farm, serves on the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center Institute, the largest network of globally minded professionals in the mid-Atlantic. For more information on the World Trade Center Institute, visit wtci.org.
Winbak added that the farm looks forward to hosting more Bowes Fellowship events.
