Bob McClure reached a milestone of $40 million in career earnings at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday (Dec. 8) evening.
McClure drove four-year-old Brash Lady in the opener for trainer Shane Weber and picked up a $4,500 cheque in the $18,000 conditioned trot to earn McClure his milestone achievement.
Bob McClure is no stranger to the headlines. The 2020 O'Brien Award winner has had feature moments in 2022 including winning the Breeders Crown with Sylvia Hanover, being honoured by Hanover Raceway through Bob McClure Day, and reaching 3,000 wins in late June.
For the 2022 season, McClure sits fourth in the standings for leading drivers by money earned with over $5.6 million earned. McClure is fifth in the rankings for top winning drivers at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
