A quartet of BC Sales Stakes Finals were served up at Fraser Downs on Saturday afternoon, and it turned out to be a very profitable day at the office for the partnership of Rod Therres and Charles MacFarlane.

They clicked with Primary Purpose, Royal Morn and Sugar Mountain to take three of today’s four events.

Here’s a recap of all the action:

$28,375 BC Sales Stake Final for two-year-old colt & gelding pacers

Primary Purpose is now undefeated in seven lifetime starts thanks to his 1:57.4 score over Camblazer and Millbanks Apache. Trainer/driver Rod Therres engineered the gate-to-wire score with the son of Cammibest.

Royal Morn gave Therres and MacFarlane a round trip to victory lane thanks to his 1:53.4 score over Happy Larry and Blessthebrokenroad.

The gelded son of Usher Hanover uncorked a :28 second final frame for trainer/driver Therres, who drew off to win by a six and three-quarter length margin. The victory was the ninth of the season and the 12th lifetime tally for the career winner of $196,492.
