Driver Dan Noble delivered a dominating performance on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Northfield Park with his win count for the night reaching double digits.
Noble won 10 of the 15 races on the Sunday program, marking the third time in his career he has won 10 races on a single card and the fifth time a driver has won 10 races on a Northfield card, according to the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association. Noble previously won 10 races at Scioto Downs and Dayton Raceway, and now joins Walter Case Jr. (twice), Greg Grismore, Brett Miller and Aaron Merriman to accomplish the feat at Northfield.
Ten difference stables contributed to Noble's successful night in the sulky. The 42-year-old Xenia, Ohio resident started out with back-to-back visits to the winner's circle in the third and fourth races with Delight Kate ($3.20) for trainer Jessica Roegner and Abbey D ($7.40) for conditioner Deborah Swartz.
Noble was back at it in races six through eight, with Open pacing mare Rockin Bambi ($2.40) in a 1:52.4 mile for Craig Stein, Dancin For Dollars ($4.60) for Vincent Miller and Witching Blue Chip ($3.20) for Calvin Hollar.
His winning crusade continued in the 10th race with three in a row, including Princess Stella ($2.20), a three-year-old Captaintreacherous-Shartin N filly trained by his wife Christi, along with Rising Fire ($4.40) for Cory Kreiser and Open trotter Mohatu As in 1:55.2 for Mark Headworth.
He later capped off the card with victories in rein to Lily Grace Hill ($2.60) from the Cory Deyermand stable then his longest priced winner of the night in the finale, Princesa Alta ($19.20) as he drove the seven-year-old Sweet Lou-Camille mare for the first time for trainer Michael Deruntz.
Noble, who won his first race in 1999 at Greene County Fair, surpassed the 8,000 career win mark this past April. Through the first 11 months of the year, he has won 633 races, chasing a career-high 773 he achieved in 2011 and ranking third among drivers in North American wins in 2025 behind Jason Bartlett (748) and Aaron Merriman (844) -- the latter has three wins on the program, with Chris Lems taking the other two races.
