A set of $18,000 conditioned events highlighted Thursday’s 10-race card at Woodbine Racetrack, and driver Jody Jamieson won both of them.

Jamieson nabbed a natural hat trick on the program, in fact, and it all started with a front-stepping score in Race 5 with the Ted MacDonnell-trained Osborne Seelster.

The three-year-old son of Big Jim-Outofthefryingpan was second to the quarter pole before taking matters into his own hands in the backstretch. The gelding cleared to the top and sped through middle splits of :56.2 and 1:24.3 before kicking home in :28.2 to win by 1-1/4 lengths over Tuxedo Bay in 1:53. Passport To Art was third.

MacDonnell owns the pacer with Len Gamble of Etobicoke, Ont. The partners watched the gelding win for the second time this season and for the third time in his career. He’s stashed away more than $80,000 to date.

Dunbar Hall gave Jamieson the round trip to victory lane thanks to his 1:56.2 triumph in Race 6. The three-year-old son of Deweycheatumnhowe-Debbie Hall kicked off cover in the lane and scored by a neck over Fondue in 1:56.2. Taking home third prize was Hill Yes, who carved out fractions of :28, :58.1 and 1:27.2 before fading.

Stephanie Jamieson trains the gelding for Carl Jamieson, Thomas Kyron and George Harrison. The partners watched the trotter go 0-for-3 as a rookie, but he’s managed to assemble a 3-6-0 record from 17 trips to the track this season. He has nearly $70,000 in his card this season and more than $83,000 in his career.

Jamieson’s natural hat trick was completed when A Boy Named Suuzz dead-heated with Intended Style and driver Jonathan Drury in Race 7 – an $8,000 claiming handicap for pacers.
