Driver Brad Forward became well acquainted with the winner's circle on Friday night at Western Fair Raceway. The hot-handed reinsman guided five winners on the 12-race card.
Forward swept the Daily Double wager thanks to a win in the opener with Sparkaluck (2:04.4) and in Race 2 with Kissmetoofiercely (2:06).
The native of Goulds, Newfoundland had to wait until Race 9 before visiting victory lane again with Blueridge Icicle (2:04).
This season's leading driver for triumphs closed the night with a pair of wins in Race 11 with Spocks Luck (2:02.4) and Race 12 with Get Er Done (2:04.4).
With 535 wins this season, Forward has earned over $3.6 million in purses. In his career, he has recorded 3,076 victories and over $18.4 million in earnings.
Forward will be competing in the National Driving Championship as a representative from Ontario next spring at Fraser Downs.
