According to the Canadian Cancer Society, one in every two Canadians will develop cancer at some point in their lives. Prostate cancer has the highest incident of any cancer in Canadian men - as one in seven will faced with it in their lifetime - and also one of the highest mortality rates.

This Saturday, Kawartha Downs will host a fund raiser for the Movember movement. A portion of program sales and a raffle plus donations will go to the Trot Magazine Movember team, raising money for prostate cancer awareness. Trot team member and Kawartha's announcer Evan Loucks will shave off his mustache as part of the fun.

i dont know the rules for the movember challenge, but i saw a couple of contestants in london saturday nite," blanchard" does look great!! but so does jamieson, and he has fair hair, making it very difficult to show off the great progress on his "mo"

I think J J had been drinking a blue slurppy before the big race,"Forest city" and it transfered to his "mo", thus, really highlighting the incredible, full,"foo man choo"
he has grown for this contest. i think if J J puts a little dye on his new found facial fluff, hes a hands down winner!!! begging the question, is there any rule
with regard to the coloring of "mo" in the november challenge???

I will keep a close watch on this site if anyone can perhaps clarify the rule(s).

Great job and well done to all the contestants!!!!!

I hate to admit it but I think that Mr. Saftic is going to be tough to beat (for a strawberry roan that is!).

Gotta give Greg credit!...looks good cowboy!...don't look in your rear-view because the red-flash is-a comin!...Awesome job Team Trot!

wow....Greg Blanchard seems to have come off the pace and has taken the lead going into the stretch. Should make for a heck of a photo finish!
