Officials with Lakeland Animal Nutrition have announced that four of its products have been recalled. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is currently investigating a possible link between the products and the deaths of three horses in south Florida.
Lakeland Animal Nutrition announced the recall on the products on October 22.

Lakeland’s release states that if you are in possession of any of the affected products, please return the product(s) to your dealer immediately for a full refund. The specific lot number can be found on the front centre of the feed bag.
An article of the situation by The Lexington Herald-Leader has quoted Lakeland general manager Jonathan Lang as saying via release that, "This action was taken as a measure of caution following three horses’ deaths at one Florida farm on October 16 to 20. At this time, the cause of the horses’ deaths has not been determined; autopsy results remain pending."
