Ohioans To Vote On Casino Gaming

According to a Quinnipiac University poll released in September, 58 per cent of Ohio voters said they would support expanded gaming. As the state-to-state battle for casino revenue intensifies south of the border, voters in Ohio will be making a landscape-altering decision

tomorrow.

As a report by the courier-journal.com explains, voters will decide whether to authorize four new casinos that could generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the state.

If expanding gaming in Ohio gets the go ahead, the effect will definitely be felt in Kentucky and Indiana. The report states that Ohio racetracks would benefit to the tune of $18 million annually if the casinos get the green light.

When Ohio voters make their decision on the casino option tomorrow, it will mark the fifth time in two decades that the item has been voted on by the public.
