The 2024 edition of the Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale is set to go into full swing starting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday Oct. 11 at the Crapaud Agriplex in Crapaud, P.E.I.
The sale has catalogued 151 yearlings available for purchase from Atlantic Canadian sires as well as stallions from Ontario, Pennsylvania and New York. Amongst those are yearlings from the first crops of stallions like Blood Money, Somewhere Fancy, Legion Of Honor, Bulldog Hanover, Captain Corey and Force N Fury.
The sale preview will be held on Thursday from 3-7 p.m., with all yearlings available for inspection and catering services on site from Melissa Banks.

There will be no online bidding for the 2024 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale.
“The online portion was a large part of our business during COVID-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021,” said Nicholas Oakes, Atlantic Classic Sale Chair. “Since health restrictions were lifted, our buyers spoke with their pocket books with more records set in 2022 and 2023 and the yearlings bought almost entirely on site. We have another fabulous lineup for the 2024 edition and after a season of increased purses in virtually every stakes event in Atlantic Canada this season, we are excited to get the party started again this Friday morning.”
