Trainer Tiffany Ball got her first career victory as Redwhiteandboots got up for a dead heat in the third race at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The 36-1 longshot sat the pocket for Corey MacPherson behind Roll Your Coin (Myles Heffernan Sr.), who put up the fractions of :28.4, :58.2, and 1:28.1. Redwhiteandboots took the passing lane, with favourite Onions Te Go (David Dowling) on the outside making it a three-horse battle in the stretch. Roll Your Coin dug in, but Redwhiteinboots was in time to reach the line in sync with the pacesetter for a dead heat in 1:58. Onions Te Go was a quarter-length back in third. The top two combined for a $633.50 exactor.

He then led to three-quarters in 1:25.2 before closing out in :28.1 to win by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:53.3 over pocket-sitting Impeccable Shadow (Paul Langille). Pauls Crown (Marc Campbell) was third.
