Butters Appointed In BC

British Columbia's Horse Racing Industry Management Committee has named Brian Butters its Director of Sustainability of Horse Racing.

The news comes courtesy of an article by Tom Wolski in The Province.

Butters, who has a background in journalism, communications and public affairs, told Wolski that his perspective could be just what the position needs.

"…When you have someone like me coming in from outside the industry, what I bring to bear is a fresh perspective on some of the issues that represent challenges to the industry," Butters was quoted as saying.
