Pappy Go Go continues his quest for history in the Maritime Breeder's final Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The 14-dash program gets underway at 6 p.m., with the Buddy Campbell Memorial Maritime Breeder's Final for three-year-old trotters presented by Meridian Farms carrying a $7,000 purse in race six.

The last time a horse put together an undefeated season in Atlantic Canadian stakes action was Malabrigo in the 2012 season for trainer Marc Campbell, but now Pappy Go Go will look to accomplish the same feat from the same stable as he puts his perfect 11-race season on the line. The son of Tad The Stud starts from post two in the final with Campbell at the lines for owner Grayland Farms of Pugwash, N.S. Majian Tango (Driven by Jim Ripley) and Hop Up (Corey MacPherson) will be his top competition from either side of him.

The Maritime Breeder's final for two-year-old trotters lines up in race four for a $7,750 purse with Atlantic Breeders Crown champion Windemeredontuworry leaving from post six with Gilles Barrieau in the bike for trainer and co-owner Terry Gallant and co-owner Eric Johnston of Summerside. Red Shores Charlottetown track record holder Buckaroo leaves from post three for trainer/driver Campbell while Ticked will look for redemption from his break in elimination action with post five. Ticked finished fourth in his elimination with trotting hopples equipped but was qualified before the draw Wednesday morning as a free-legged trotter by driver Myles Heffernan.

The $2,400 Preferred Pace lines up in 13 with D Gs Camme looming the danger off the rail with Barrieau in the bike for trainer Jackie Matheson. Rose Run Quest won this class last week for trainer/driver Campbell and gets post four to work with this week while Forever Paradise teams up with driver Ken Murphy as a top contender from post three.

Top Of The Morning makes his East Coast debut in race 12 for new trainer/driver Kyle Gillis. The 10-year-old son of Cams Card Shark boasts a record of 28 wins, $217,997 in lifetime earnings and a mark of 1:51 over Woodbine Racetrack in Ontario. His 20-year-old trainer/driver is still looking for his first career victory in the race bike as Gillis, a native of Truro, N.S., is in the midst of his first full season behind the gate.
