According to a report in the Courier-Journal, Attorney General Jack Conway’s office released a decision on Wednesday stating that Instant Racing is allowed by Kentucky
state laws.
The gambling game, which allows patrons to bet on previously run races through common pools similar to the pari-mutuel wagering system, is currently only offered in Arkansas.
While state law governing pari-mutuel gambling permits the game, current Kentucky Horse Racing Commission regulations do not.
