With focus having been thrust on 'break-open ticket' machines in Ontario in recent weeks, one reporter has travelled to both Delta Bingo and Kawartha Downs in the Peterborough area to note the differences in the machines.
In a piece for the Peterborough Examiner, Brendan Wedley sat down and played both types of machines to see if there was a difference.
Although he did note that there were subtle differences in style, play and payouts from the break-open ticket machines to the slot machines, Wedley did not conclude that there was a significant difference between the two types of gaming offerings.
