Designer Specs and driver Skip DeMull captured the Open Trot and Danikova and driver Justin Irvine snagged the Mares Open Pace on Friday (Oct. 14) night at Northville Downs.

The $9,500 Open Pace highlighted the Saturday, Oct. 7 program at Northville Downs, and it did not disappoint.

Rankin and driver Justin Irvine cruised to a new track record in the $15,895 Michigan Breeders Futurity for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings on Friday night (Oct. 6) at Northville Downs.

Northville Downs hosted three $20,000 Great Lake Stakes that were featured on Saturday (Sept. 30) evening at the Northville, Michigan oval in addition to the $9,500 Open Pace.

Trainer/driver Dan Venier's homebred Herecomescharlie B cruised to victory in the $9,500 Open Trot on Friday night (Sept. 29), completing the mile in 1:56 flat. 

The Michigan Fair Stakes Finals, worth $20,000 each, were contested on Saturday evening (Sept. 23) at the Northville, Michigan oval where one track record was established and another was equalled.

Saulsgood and driver Jason Merriman equalled the trotting track record for four-year-old geldings in the $9,5000 Open Trot on Friday night, taking the mile in 1:57.

Jason Merriman earned his 3,000th career driving win at Northville Downs on Saturday, Sept. 16 with Noha.

Celebrity Pegasus and Artistic Cut captured their respective Open divisions on Friday night (Sept. 15) at Northville Downs. 

Northville Downs, in conjunction with the Michigan Harness Horsemen’s Association and the Michigan Gaming Control Board, has announced that the 2023 harness racing season has been extended.
