The Atlantic Sires Stakes made its way to Cape Breton on Saturday, Aug. 26, bringing some of the Maritimes' best three-year-old filly pacers to Northside Downs.

The three-year-old pacing fillies will make their way to Northside Downs on Saturday, Aug. 26 for their final Atlantic Sires Stakes leg.  

Richard O'Donnell met three of his students in the winner's circle on Thursday (Aug. 10) evening at Northside Downs and Shadowcross Hooper led the pack with a 2-3/4 length victory in 2:00.

A Better Man was the best man on Saturday (Aug. 5) at Northside Downs, prevailing in the weekly Winners Over feature on a card where the Nova Scotia oval hosted Harness the Hope.

Malignity is quickly establishing himself as the top colt in the Atlantic Sires Stakes program.

Both Northside Downs and Inverness Raceway will play host to some of the best Maritime-sired competitors this weekend with Atlantic Sires Stakes action on Saturday (July 29) and Sunday (July 30).

Elm Grove Qwiggly went off as the second longest shot on the board in the featured Winners Over Pace at Northside Downs on Monday (July 24) evening and overcame her 11-1 odds to win.
