A superior court judge in Maine recently denied appeals from horsemen Drew Campbell, Randy Bickmore and Stephen Vafiades in regard to cobalt positives that were announced last summer.

A stay has been ordered for three trainers in Maine after the state's harness racing commission suspended them for the use of cobalt.

More information has come to light in regard to the cobalt positives that were announced in Maine late last week. The positives resulted in fines and suspensions for a number of racing participants.

It has been reported that seven different horsepeople have been handed suspensions and fines in relation to cobalt.
