Bo Jackson may have been the pre-eminent two-sport athlete of his time, but some 40 years since he began the trend, Millennium Seelster and Emma Christoforou have decided to run with it. There are many retired Standardbreds competing out there in shows, but ‘Melman’ is far from retired. On August 21st he finished 2nd at Leamington Raceway, and on August 24th he was named ‘Champion’ in two different show classes at the Ancaster Fairgrounds’ Summer Solstice Series. By Dan Fisher.
