One of the top trainers and drivers in the history of his native Sweden, Ake Svanstedt and his wife Sarah moved to America late in 2013, while their two sons were quite young, just to ‘try racing in North America for a while and see how things went’. Well, things went well, to say the least, and now, after a decade of success, the family is definitely here to stay. Ake and Sarah train their horses a little differently than many in North America do, and here TROT asked them to tell their story, share their thoughts on racing, on both sides of the Atlantic, and maybe even tell us a few of their secrets.
