Canadian Trailblazer

There is a widespread contention that integrity issues in sport are new, or worse now than ever before. Of course, that is debatable position. In the early 1900s, a crusading Canadian journalist with a passion and love for horse racing took on the sporting world. His statement that “no sport or game can continue that is contaminated with dishonesty and crookedness” is one that stands the test of time.
