No Elims Needed For 2025 Meadowlands Pace

Entries for the 2025 Meadowlands Pace, sponsored by Fashion Farm, were taken on Tuesday, July 1 and when the box closed at 9 a.m. exactly 10 three-year-old pacing colts had been declared.

Stakes conditions dictate that under this circumstance, there will be no elimination races and all 10 declared will race in the $656,000 USD Meadowlands Pace on Saturday, July 12.

The horses entered in alphabetical order are:

  • Joel And The Jets
  • Knockout Round
  • Louprint
  • Madden Oaks
  • Manolete
  • Papis Pistol
  • Papis Rocket
  • Prince Hal Hanover

An overnight "prep" race will be offeredon Saturday, July 5 for those connections looking to horse their horses.

Also on the July 5 card are the Stan Bergstein Graduate Series finals, which each filled up with exactly 10 entries per division.

July Starts with a Bang at the Meadowlands Racetrack

The Meadowlands Racetrack kicks off July with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, July 5. From 6 to 11 p.m., fans can grab $1 USD hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and $2 USD draft beer at the Café, on the Victory Terrace, and in the Backyard. Guests are encouraged to stay after the races for the free fireworks display.

On the track Saturday night, the top four-year-olds compete in the Graduate Finals. The race card has a special post time of 7 p.m.

The action on and off the track continues the following weekend.

Saturday, July 12th is the Meadowlands’ signature nighttime event: The Meadowlands Pace. On the track, $2.5 million USD in stakes is up for grabs, including the top three-year-old pacers competing for the Meadowlands Pace title. The race card also features (estimated purses):

  • $400,000 USD Hambletonian Maturity
  • $250,000 USD Stanley Dancer
  • $200,000 USD Del Miller Memorial
  • $175,000 USD Jerry Silverman Memorial

While enjoying world-class harness racing, fans can ride the mechanical shark, dance with DJ ALX, and get a commemorative “Pace and Love” t-shirt (while supplies last).  New for this year is the Jimmy Hoffa Cornhole Classic hosted by the Garden State Cornhole Alliance.

Additionally, over 25 food trucks will be on-site, serving up delicious food.  Everything from burgers to empanadas, BBQ, lobster rolls, and lemonade will be available.
