Buck and Judy Chaffee, of Caviart Farms, held the North America Cup high in 2019, as part-owners of Captain Crunch. They won it again the next year, with Tall Dark Stranger, but were unable to attend in-person due to COVID. This year they were back, looking to complete their ‘hat trick’ with their 2020 winner’s full brother. By Debbie Little.
