Grand River Raceway and Mohawk Racetrack were forced to cancel the last half of their 12-race programs on Friday night.

Grand River cancelled the remainder of its card due to unsafe track conditions caused by thunderstorms in the area. The final three Ontario Sires Stakes races on the card have been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22. The races will be held as non-wagering events before the normal card with a 5 p.m. post time.

Mohawk's cancellation was a result of ongoing power outages effecting its track lights. The remaining OSS events on its program have be moved to Saturday, Sept. 21. They will also be held as non-wagering events prior to the card with a post time of 6:30 p.m.
