This Saturday (Sept. 22), Northside Downs will be playing host to the Atlantic Sires Stakes, as two-year-old pacers of both sexes are scheduled to compete in respective ‘A’ and ‘B’ divisions.
The juvenile pacers will be vying for their final points for the Atlantic Breeders Crown, which will be held at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park next month (the ABC consolations are scheduled for October 6, while the finals are scheduled to be contested on October 7).
One of Northside’s dashes this Saturday will be a memorial race for Wayne Reno.
Northside’s Saturday card will see its first race head to the starter at 1 p.m.
Northside officials would like to remind horseplayers that Northside is on HPI if they can’t make it to the track.
